CERTIFICATIONS
Collaborating with suppliers and artisans which are transparent and ethically compliant with worldwide regulations is for us a key aspect. Our suppliers guarantee high standards and are respectful towards their workforce. We believe in the slow fashion philosophy, which sponsors the reuse and the renewal of existing garments rather than continuing to buy new ones. This has created the layering system, which elongates the lifespan of our garments.

A RESPONSIBLE CHOICE
What do we mean by slow fashion?
We have decided to adhere to the slow fashion philosophy, and therefore have a different approach when speaking about the consumption of fashion goods. This respects the environment and the workers, without giving up on being fashionable.
Garments that follow this philosophy are:
- - Created to last over time;
- - Crated by artisans that are paid correct wages;
- - Created with sustainable and high quality materials.
The slow fashion philosophy is opposite compared to the fast fashion, which sets its bases on:
- Garments that are used ones and then thrown away;
- Garments with a short life cycle, which pollute our environment;
- Workers which are paid below average wages, in third world countries.

Our HQ is in Padova, and this is also where our heart is and where our collections are created.
We collaborate with local artisans, which have a great experience and with which we have a long lasting relationship. We believe in the Italian craftsmanship, and we want to support our local communities.
The superior quality of our garments derives from the care and the love that our artisans put in their jobs. Proximity with the artisans allows for a constant quality control and a direct exchange of ideas.
Every BUN garment is 100% made in Italy, and we are very proud of this.
Every step is carried out in the Veneto region: starting from the initial design, on to the selection of the fabrics, to reach the production phase. Made in Italy is synonym of unparallel quality.
MATERIALS
WHICH MAKE THE DIFFERENCE…
Our team invests time and resources to research new materials, to generate great garments, fully respecting the environment. We only select Italian suppliers, which offer high quality products.
Leftover fabrics are treated to give birth to recycled nylons which can be used to generate amazing garments. Our down jackets are made with recycled nylons.
We also give our customers the possibility to choose between a certified goose down filling and a special filling which derives from recycled plastic bottles, with a warming power which can be compared to traditional goose down. Once again, great quality, with no impact on the environment.
We research sustainable materials, which do not impact negatively on the planet. We use:
- Recycled nylons
- Cashmere and wool, which are natural fibres
- Real fur
- Plan based fibres, such as jute.
Real fur, designed in a modern key, allows women to feel glamourous and practical, and accompanies them in every day’s life. This is obtained by combining together our artisans’ heritage with innovative working techniques and modern designs.
We choose real fur for two reasons:
It is a top quality material, second to no other for warmth and luxur
It is sustainable, because it lasts over time, it can be recycled and it is biodegradable.
CERTIFICATIONS
Our company is part of the Furmark program, which traces the skins in every step of the production process. This guarantees that the skins undergo treatments which comply with international regulations and standards.
The skins are bought in authorised auctions (the first one being Sagafurs), therefore guaranteeing the traceability of the skins. These are then treated in specialised tanneries and worked by experienced craftsmen in the Italian territory.
Every garment which has fur is paired with an unique QR code which allows to trace the skins in all the production phases.
