PHILOSOPHY

WE PRODUCE IN ITALY, THANKS TO EXPERIENCES ARTISANS, AND CREATE GARMENTS THAT WILL LAST OVER TIME

MADE IN ITALY

BUN is guided by very strong values, which are the bases of our philosophy.

The collection is designed and produced in Italy, and specifically in the Veneto region. The raw materials are sourced from Italian producers, to offer the consumer the best quality. This choice of producing in Italy allows us to monitor the production process in all of its stages, to guarantee high standards.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

BUN means craftsmanship. We only collaborate with artisans that we trust and with which we have a long history. Each garment is made by hand and the artisanal details are visible. We love to work together with our artisans as their experience enhances every garment, making it unique and special.

Layering system

We propose an outerwear collection which is glamorous and sophisticated. Our down jackets are created with recycled fabrics, and you can choose between a real goose down filling or a recycled filling, which derives from recycled plastic bottles. Our technical garments have a contemporary look. The cashmere coats are timeless and elegant. The collection is enriched by a wide selection of one size fits all vests, that can be worn combined with coats, blazers, and down jackets.

The result is a functional, elegant, and unconventional collection.

We propose a permanent wardrobe, based on the idea of the layering system, where garments are versatile, durable and timeless. This concept overrules the concept of seasonal and of fast fashion.

The vests are the cornerstones of the layering system. These can be worn alone or combined with other garments, offering the possibility to create infinite combinations and express one’s personality in a unique way.

WHY CHOOSE THE LAYERING SYSTEM?

How often have you felt you did not have anything appropriate to wear?

How often have you not worn your favourite coat because it was too cold during the winter days?

How often have you stared at your wardrobe not knowing what coat or jacket to wear during those mid-season days, when temperatures change suddenly?

The layering system is the answer to all of the above, as it allows you to layer the garments to face both the change in temperatures and the different occasions of use.

Layering different garments is an ethical solution which allows you to use your jackets, without having to constantly buy new ones. You can update your garment in an easy and quick way, being creative and trying out new combinations.

SUGGESTIONS

Has it ever happened to you to desire a garment to wear in those summer nights when the breeze is fresh and you are walking by the sea? A vest would be a perfect match.

In springtime, when we decide to ride our bicycles to go to work, we could feel the need to cover up from the morning air. A vest could be the perfect solution also in this situation.

Autumn is unstable and the temperatures can vary quickly during the day. In the morning and in the evening a combination of vest and coat could be optimal. At lunchtime, when the sun has warmed up the air, both the coat or the vest can be worn by themselves.

In wintertime, if you want to use your favourite coat, layer it with a vest to feel warm.

The layering system is also key to renew our outerwear and create a different look every day, according to the occasion of use.

Our coat can be transformed by combining it with different vests, which will make it more elegant or more informal, according to the occasion.

Coat BUN87, worn with BUN98, has a totally different look compared to when it is worn together with BUN99 or with BUN96.
